I want you to step out of the parks and gardens to explore biodiversity beyond the obvious greenspaces. In our Island city, vibrant diversity spots are all along the tidal zone that surrounds us. 

Thousands of people in this city have livelihoods that are sea-facing. The fisherfolks for example. The rest of us are engrossed in our daily struggles and rarely have the time to look seawards or are restricted to fun trips to Marine Drive or a crowded beach, once in a while. 

The objective of this post is to make you pause and smell the sea salt in the air. Explore the beach or the seaside. 

When you imagine greenspaces that you desire for the future of this city, make sure that you include how the city by the sea should preserve and protect this space.
