For today’s #GreenSpacesDictionary and @mumbaismagic I want to talk about a hashtag that I contributed images to along with a whole bunch of tree lovers brought together by Gangawalker - @dreamersid . The hashtag was #FiftyTrees.

We had to post images of fifty trees and if possible, ID them. That hashtag is still being used somewhere or the other, floating like a seed through cyberspace.

What that little seed of an idea did was that it opened our eyes to the variety of trees in our cities across India and suddenly what was invisible became increased.
